David L. Minasian
Upon returning to his native Pasadena in 2012 after several years abroad, Mr. Minasian became established as a Real Estate Broker and Property Manager with Minasian & Associates, becoming President of the firm in 2018. Prior to his time at M&A, David enjoyed an extensive and diverse entrepreneurial working background in, real estate investment, property rehabilitation, music, and agriculture, for which he also designed and built a special use facility. He is a member of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), an Associate of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and a member of the Pasadena Rotary.
Vice President, Property Manager/Leasing Agent
Ms. Cantu is the firm’s lead property manager and has been with the company since 1994. Her responsibilities include tenant relations, property inspections, and the supervision a variety of trades people involved in maintenance and repair work. She also leases residential and commercial property. DeAnne has attended California State University at Los Angeles and studied Business Administration.
Property Manager/Leasing Agent
Ms. Despres joined Minasian & Associates in 2007. Her work includes marketing, leasing, supervision of property maintenance and improvements and tenant relations. Her work encompasses the supervision of property management functions on a variety of properties including muti-family residential and retail/office commercial. Prior to her position with Minasian & Associates she was employed by NBC Universal as Manager of Show Operations. In that capacity Ms. Despres managed day to day operations as well as venue maintenance and improvements. Ms. Despres holds a Bachelor of Arts from U.C.L.A..
Mr. Ahlfeldt joined Minasian & Associates in September 2000 as an Associate Broker. He is responsible for commercial leasing, property acquisitions, and sales. His extensive experience in the real estate field includes Account Manager for Commonweath Land Title, Branch Manager for Keeler Dilbeck Realtors, San Marino, and Broker Associate/Assistant Branch Manager for Coldwell Banker. He has been a California Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1983. He is a member of the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Group, an association of commercial real estate agents covering the San Gabriel Valley.
Ms. Trejo joined Minasian & Associates in 2015, where her keen organizational skills and attention to detail quickly propelled her to the position of Head Property Accountant. In addition to overseeing the client’s bookkeeping, she also handles a myriad of other tasks and is a trusted partner of the Property Owners.
Ms. Castillo joined the firm in 1999 and has been an essential part of Minasian & Associates ever since. In addition to keeping the office running on track, she is always reminding the M&A team where their funny bone is.
Property Management Assistant
Since joining Minasian & Associates in 2016, Ms. Roman has demonstrated the true meaning of customer service on behalf of the Building Owners. She takes care of tenant’s issues with grace, and her genuine, positive demeanor allows her to effectively work with both tenants and vendors to keep the properties running smoothly.
The newest member of Minasian & Associates is Ms. Najera, who joined in 2019. As Assistant Bookkeeper Tania lends a high level of professionalism and work ethic to every task she approaches, and is quickly becoming an important part of the M&A team.
Lawrence J. Minasian
Larry founded Minasian & Associates in 1986, realizing his vision for a company dedicated to serving the needs of property owners in his community. Larry continues to offer his immense knowledge and experience to the firm in his current role as consultant.
A native Angelino raised in Pasadena, Larry graduated from John Muir High School and California State University at Los Angeles. In his early career he held the positions of Bunker Hill Project Manager – downtown L.A., and Assistant City Manager, City of Whittier. Larry has been an active member of his community, serving as a board member of the Pasadena Education Foundation and past president of the Commercial Realtor’s Tuesday Morning Breakfast Group. He is also a member of the Pasadena Developers Group, The University Club, and is a long time Rotarian.
Mr. Minasian’s two adult children and grandchildren also reside in the greater Pasadena area. His daughter, Jennifer, owns a career as a respected Architectural Historian and is the Head Curator and Interim Director of Pasadena’s iconic Gamble House. His son, David, has been an integral part of the property management and leasing team at Minasian & Associates since 2012, and currently serves as company President.
